Inspection & confirmation
We walk the rough-in with your plumber before drywall closes. We confirm loop placement, drain slope, and electrical position. Catching issues here costs nothing — after drywall it costs hundreds.
System installation
We install the softener, filter, and RO system after mechanical trim-out but before your final walkthrough. Your home is fully protected from the first glass of water.
Salt, service & support

When exactly should I call you during the build process?
Ideally before your plumber draws the rough-in plan — typically 4–8 weeks before framing is complete. This gives us time to review your floor plan, coordinate with your GC, and make sure the softener location, loop, drain, and electrical are all planned correctly from the start.
What does the pre-drywall rough-in actually involve?
Your plumber stubs in a bypass loop (two valves and a short section of pipe) where the softener will sit — usually in the utility room or mechanical room. They also run a drain line to a floor drain or laundry standpipe. We provide the exact spec your plumber needs. The softener itself is installed after mechanical trim-out.
Does the water softener need its own electrical circuit?
Yes — a standard 110V outlet within 6 feet of the softener location. Most custom home mechanical rooms already have this. We confirm the requirement during our pre-permit consultation so your electrician includes it in the rough-in.
Can you work with my GC directly?
Yes. We're happy to communicate directly with your general contractor, plumber, and electrician. We provide a one-page spec sheet with exact requirements — loop size, drain spec, electrical — so there's no ambiguity on the job site.
