Why does my water smell or taste like chlorine?
Columbus city water is treated with chlorine at the plant — but levels can spike seasonally or after maintenance. A whole-home carbon filter removes it completely before it reaches your tap, shower, or appliances.
Is hard water causing the white buildup on my faucets?
Yes. Central Ohio water is notoriously hard — typically 15–25 grains per gallon. That scale builds up inside your water heater, dishwasher, and pipes too. A water softener eliminates it and can extend appliance life by years.
Why does my shower dry out my skin and hair?

I have orange or rust stains — what causes that?
